Fajardo bio bay tours
Discover the glowing waters of Laguna Grande, the easiest bio bay to access from San Juan

The Luminous One is a boat ride to the original bioluminescent bay in La Parguera, where guests are able to swim in the bioluminescence. The total tour time is about an hour. Guests are allowed to swim for 20 minutes to preserve the organism and habitat.
La Parguera is a quaint fisherman's village with restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. We recommend getting to the village early to find parking, relax, and enjoy La Parguera before the trip!
All guests are encouraged to swim for maximum visibility of the bioluminescence! However, swimming is NOT REQUIRED. Goggles are also encouraged for an underwater view of this glowing organism!
